There probably needs ...Okay, I found a fix for you. There probably needs to be a better long-term solution, but this will get it working for your son immediately. Essentially there's a security setting in Safari that's resetting the game storage every time the browser is closed. You can turn off this feature, and the game storage will be retained.

On your iPad, tap the Settings app icon, select Safari in the left column, and find the toggle for "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking". Make sure this toggle is turned off.

Currently PBS KIDS stores the games on a different website than pbskids.org, and they are loaded "cross-site" which causes this security setting to come into play.Derek Detweilerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09274556211788769516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14842589.post-77639137517552794842020-11-10T19:39:36.207-05:002020-11-10T19:39:36.207-05:00Thank you so much! : )Thank you so much! : )Tskhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06862671618803571520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14842589.post-79921430808465901782020-11-09T10:48:35.576-05:002020-11-09T10:48:35.576-05:00I just checked that device on our end and am getti...I just checked that device on our end and am getting the same result your experiencing. I even looked to see if it was something we could buy since he loves it so much (it’s awesome, you guys did a great job), but couldn’t find anything. Also, I’ve tried it on Safari and the Google app but it’s like the PBS website refreshes overnight and there’s no continue button. It should save his progress between plays: he won't be able to select levels (unless he uses the Level Editor), but if he taps "Continue" on the title scene (not "New Game") it will load the last level he played. If he taps "New Game", all progress is erased for a fresh playthrough.

If he only ever sees "Play Game" when he visits the page (no "Continue" button), progress isn't being saved at all. I'm not sure how that would happen, but let me know what OS/browser you're using and I can try to replicate the problem. Progress is saved in the browser itself, so he shouldn't need to be logged in or anything; it should just work. Oh, also let me know if this is in the PBS KIDS Games App or on the Wild Kratts website.Derek Detweilerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09274556211788769516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14842589.post-21561332038557931702020-11-05T18:48:20.246-05:002020-11-05T18:48:20.246-05:00My son loves this game but he loses all of his pro...My son loves this game but he loses all of his progress and has to start at level 1 every time he goes back in to play. We even set him up with a PBS profile and we make sure he stays signed in but it hasn’t made a difference. Is there any way for him to select levels or is that the intent of the game? You should get the Rhino disc early on in Level 2, once you cross the river (you'll need to swap to Martin since Chris starts off trapped in that level).
